Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani, has received commendations from the Irigwe community in Kauru Local Government Area following his swift intervention in settling the medical bills of victims of the recent attack in Angwan Rimi.
The development comes after an earlier appeal by the community, which lamented the suspension of treatment for injured children at Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital due to unpaid bills.

In an appreciation letter signed by Mr. Barnabas Musa of the Irigwe Community Development Association, Kamaru Ward, and Comrade Raphael Joshua, representative of the parents of the victims, the community expressed deep gratitude to the Governor for what they described as a timely and compassionate response.
According to the letter, the confirmation of the payment was made on Sunday, September 21, 2025, through the Chairman of Kauru Local Government Area, Hon. Bashir Tanko Dawaki, who ensured the Governor’s directive was fully executed.
The community also commended the Commissioner for Health, Hajiya Umma Ahmad, for her professionalism and prompt response, as well as Hon. Dawaki for carrying out the intervention with dedication and empathy.
“This intervention has not only ensured the continuation of medical care but has also restored our confidence in your people-oriented leadership,” the letter read.
The Irigwe community prayed for continued strength and guidance for the Governor in his efforts to build a safer and more inclusive Kaduna State.
