Plateau State University, Bokkos, has announced a two-day maintenance exercise on its university portal to improve performance, security and user experience.
The university’s ICT Directorate disclosed this in a notice to staff, students and the general public, explaining that portal services may be temporarily unavailable during the exercise.
According to the notice, users may experience intermittent downtime as the technical team carries out the scheduled maintenance.
The Directorate said the exercise is aimed at enhancing the portal’s overall performance, strengthening security and improving users’ experience with the platform.
It assured users that its technical team was working to complete the exercise as quickly as possible and restore full services within the scheduled timeframe.
The university apologised for any inconvenience the temporary disruption may cause, while urging staff, students and other users to exercise patience and cooperate with the technical team.
The ICT Directorate expressed appreciation to members of the university community for their understanding as efforts continue to improve the institution’s digital services.
