Mr. Jasper Fiton (JMF), has paid a condolence visit to his longtime friend Mr. Markus Marley, following the tragic death of his wife, Late Mrs. Tiyata Markus, who passed away on Saturday in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Fiton, who was represented by a delegation led by Mr. Josiah Panmak, described the passing of Mrs. Markus as “a painful loss not only to her immediate family but to all who knew her as a devoted mother, peace lover, and community pillar.”

Addressing mourners during the visit, Panmak urged the bereaved family and well-wishers to take solace in God, stressing that though Mrs. Markus’s physical presence will be missed, her legacy of love and kindness would continue to endure. He also prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul.

Responding, Mr. Markus Marley expressed heartfelt gratitude to Jasper Fiton for the gesture, noting that the support from friends during a difficult moment was a true demonstration of loyalty and friendship. He also prayed for the safe return of the delegation to Jos.
The late Mrs. Tiyata Markus is being remembered as a woman who touched many lives through her humility, compassion, and commitment to family and community. Her passing has drawn condolences from friends, associates, and members of the wider Plateau community.
As tributes continue to pour in, mourners are united in celebrating her life and cherishing the memories she leaves behind.
