Olle community in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State has come under attack following an invasion by suspected bandits this afternoon 19 December 2025 along farm routes in the area.
Reports indicate that the attackers struck residents on their way to their farms, k!!lling at least two people during the assault. The exact number of abducted victims remains unclear as of the time of filing this report.
However, community sources confirmed that no fewer than 10 people from nearby Community Taki have already been taken by the assailants.
The bandits are also said to be currently positioned along the Olle road, raising fears of further attacks and abductions.
The incident has heightened tension in the area, with residents reportedly fleeing to safer locations and calling on security agencies to respond urgently.
As of now, there has been no official statement from security authorities regarding the attack or ongoing operations to rescue victims and secure the affected routes.
