The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released deployment details for 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II prospective corps members posted to Niger and Sokoto states.

The NYSC announced the development on Sunday, August 9, 2026, through its official X handle, directing affected prospective corps members to print their call-up letters.

“2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Deployment has been released for Niger and Sokoto States,” the Corps stated.

It added that prospective corps members posted to the two states had been enabled to print their call-up letters.

The development followed the NYSC’s earlier extension of the commencement date of the orientation course in Niger and Sokoto due to ongoing renovation works at the orientation camps.

According to the Corps, the orientation course for the two states will now commence on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

The swearing-in and cut-off ceremony is scheduled for Friday, August 14, while the closing ceremony will take place on Tuesday, September 1.

The NYSC attributed the adjustment to renovation works being carried out at the orientation camps by the respective state governments.

The Corps advised prospective corps members posted to Niger and Sokoto to plan their journeys accordingly and avoid travelling at night.

Prospective corps members are therefore expected to print their call-up letters and make the necessary arrangements ahead of the revised orientation programme.
