In a heartfelt message of solidarity and optimism, former APC Woman Leader and Transitional Chairperson of Bassa LGA, Hon. Mrs. Sarah Bali, has congratulated Professor Nentawe Yilwatda on his emergence as the National Chairman of the Nigerian ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC).
Describing the emergence of Prof. Yilwatda as a “triumph of competence, integrity, and vision,” Mrs. Bali praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the APC National Working Committee for what she called a “bold and timely decision” that signals a new chapter for the party and Nigeria’s democratic future.
As a devoted party loyalist who has worked extensively with women at the grassroots, I am filled with pride and renewed hope, she stated. Prof. Nentawe’s leadership offers a fresh opportunity for unity, internal democracy, and restoration of the APC’s founding values.
Mrs. Bali, a respected voice in Plateau politics, also expressed deep pride in the honour Prof. Yilwatda’s elevation brings to Plateau State, describing it as a moment of national significance that showcases the state’s reservoir of visionary leadership.
While celebrating the milestone, she made a passionate appeal for more inclusive leadership within the APC, calling on Prof. Yilwatda to amplify women’s participation at all levels of party affairs.
Women are not just voters—we are visionaries, organizers, and defenders of the party’s grassroots soul. I urge our new National Chairman to see women as strategic partners in repositioning the APC for success in 2027, she emphasized.
Looking ahead to the next general elections, Mrs. Bali expressed confidence that with Prof. Nentawe’s digital expertise, moral clarity, and bridge-building leadership style, the APC will be re-energized to deliver victory at the national level and secure a progressive government for Plateau State.
She concluded her message by praying for divine wisdom and strength for the new Chairman, expressing confidence that his leadership would usher in an era of unity, justice, and progress.
